Hit the 94 screw milestone and my wrist said enough

I was counting the screws I used to build my desk from a used door slab in Portland, and when I hit 94 with a manual driver, my forearm cramped so bad I dropped the bracket. I thought I was done after 60, but the cleats on the underside needed another row of pilot holes and hardware. Has anyone else lost count mid-build and just accepted whatever screws you had left in the jar, or do you plan every single fastener ahead of time?
