Hit $0 spent on desk gear for 4 straight months, felt unreal
After building my current setup from scrap wood and garage sale finds in Austin, I realized I haven't bought a single new item since June. Has anyone else managed to keep a desk project going purely on leftover materials and patience?

Used to roll my eyes at the scrap wood setups, figured you gotta buy good stuff or it's not worth having. But four months without spending a dime is kinda making me rethink that. Guess patience really does beat a credit card.
