Took me 6 hours to figure out a loose ribbon cable on my Switch Lite shell swap...

I was trying to do a clear shell swap on my Switch Lite last weekend and after reassembly the right trigger just stopped working. Turned out the ZR ribbon cable wasn't seated all the way in the latch and I must have spent like 2 hours just reseating it over and over before it finally clicked. Has anyone else had a tiny connector like that eat up a whole afternoon?

idk man its just a ribbon cable. Like yeah its annoying but 2 hours clicking it in and out is kind of on you for not checking it was seated first time. People act like theyre diffusing a bomb in there when really you just gotta make sure the latch clicks shut properly.

I mean, I used to kinda agree with the 'its just a ribbon cable' take too, but then my first shell swap definitely humbled me. Its easy to say you just need to check the latch when youre not the one with shaky hands worrying about snapping a $200 console in half. Idk, sometimes the simplest fix is the one your brain just refuses to see until youve already taken it apart five times.
