TIL soldering with lead-free is fine for my Switch modchip installs

I used to swear by leaded solder for everything because it flows easier, but after watching a buddy's rework station stream I tried a 63/37 SAC alloy and honestly the joints came out cleaner. Anybody else stick with one type of solder or do you swap based on the board?

Start buying cheap solder and watch those modchips go up in smoke.

Lead-free is fine for my Switch modchip installs" is a bold take but I've been there too. I grabbed some cheap SAC305 from Amazon once and it was total junk, so I stick with a name brand like Kester or MG Chemicals. @charlie_allen definitely knows the pain of bad solder laughs because that's exactly how you end up with bridges that won't reflow clean.
