Vent: Picked a coliving space over a cheap apartment and I'm regretting it

I had to choose between a $400 a month room in a shared apartment in Medellin or a $900 a month spot at a coliving place for digital nomads. I went with the coliving space thinking I'd meet more people and have better wifi. But after 3 weeks here, the wifi drops every afternoon and the common areas are always too loud to work in. The cheap apartment would've given me my own quiet space and saved $500 a month. Has anyone else made a similar call and ended up wishing they took the other option?

Right @mary_patel59, that's honestly cheaper than my car payment here in Ohio. I've been looking into it and yeah, the math checks out if you're smart about it.
