Unpopular opinion: coworking spaces in Chiang Mai are way overhyped
I was in Chiang Mai last month and the wifi at Punspace went down for 45 minutes right during a client call. Had to finish the meeting from a 7-Eleven parking lot using my phone hotspot. Anyone else find these places more about Instagram vibes than actual work?

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe the problem isn't the coworking spaces themselves, but the way people treat them like hotel lobbies? I noticed a lot of folks in Chiang Mai camp out all day with one coffee, making calls on speakerphone, and treating the place like their personal office. The wifi issues are real, but half the time it's because someone's streaming video or doing a huge file upload. The real value of these spaces is getting away from your bungalow's spotty connection and having a desk you don't have to clear every night. But people forget they're sharing a network and need to be courteous. It's like complaining about traffic when you're the one driving slow in the fast lane.

So the real issue is everyone else being selfish? Got it.
