Trying to work from a hammock in Bali went exactly as you'd expect
I was in Canggu last month, set up my laptop on a little bamboo table next to this sweet hammock, thinking I'd finally nailed the nomad aesthetic. A gust of wind came out of nowhere, my coffee went flying, and the whole table tipped over, sending my laptop straight into the sand. I spent the next two hours at a warung with a can of compressed air, carefully blowing grit out of the keyboard while the owner, Wayan, just laughed and brought me more coffee. Anyone else have a 'perfect setup' that immediately backfired?

Classic. Sand in the keyboard is the worst.

Turned my keyboard upside down and gave it a good shake over the trash can. Then I took a can of compressed air and blasted between all the keys. For the really stubborn grit, I used a soft paintbrush to loosen it up before another round of air. It took a while but got most of it out.
