TIL most people overpay for airport lounge access by buying single passes instead of a membership like Priority Pass, which I realized after spending $60 for a 2-hour layover in Bangkok.

Has anyone else found a better deal for lounge access during long international connections?

Yeah that's everywhere now. Like paying for a single movie rental when a whole streaming sub is cheaper per watch. Companies bank on you not doing the math for one-off situations.

I've definitely been that person who rents a movie and then realizes I could have watched it for free on a service I already pay for. It's like my brain just shuts off when I see the rent button. Makes you wonder how much money we all waste on small choices like that.
