Switched to a noise-cancelling headset for calls in cafes and it's night and day

I was using my regular earbuds for client calls from coffee shops in Medellin for 3 months and kept getting complaints about background noise. Picked up a $60 Anker headset last week and my last 6 clients all said the audio was crystal clear. Anyone else have a cheaper alternative that works just as well?

Took me three months of sounding like I was broadcasting from a wind tunnel to finally figure out the obvious fix too. Guess I was just committed to the “authentic coffee shop ambience” vibe.
