Sat with 6 strangers in a co-working space in Chiang Mai today and realized I haven't felt lonely in 3 months
Back in April I was working from my cramped apartment in Austin and barely talked to anyone, but switching to that common table setup where everyone shares snacks and gripes about wifi has totally flipped my mood, anyone else find that just being around other people (even if you don't talk much) makes the solo grind way easier?

Oh man, that totally reminds me of a buddy from my old co-working spot. He was going stir crazy in his home office and one day just plopped down at the big community table with a bag of chips. He said he barely talked to anyone the first week, but just having people around made him way less antsy.

Wonder if he ever actually talked to anyone there or just kinda stayed in his own bubble the whole time. I feel like having people nearby makes a difference even if you don't interact much, just that low level background noise of human activity. Did your buddy ever say if he ended up getting to know any of the regulars or kept it all pretty surface level?
