PSA: I used to swear by coworking cafes in Bangkok but now I work from a laundromat (seriously)

I used to think I needed a fancy spot with $5 lattes to get work done, but after 6 months of noisy WiFi drops in Thong Lo cafes I gave up. Last Wednesday I sat down at a 24-hour laundromat near my apartment and finished a whole project in 2 hours with zero distractions. Has anyone else found a weird unconventional workspace that actually works better than the usual spots?

My buddy worked from a laundromat in Chiang Mai for a month straight.

I used to think laundromats were just for washing clothes but after trying it once I get it now. @taylor.paige is onto something, maybe Chiang Mai has the right idea.
