Just swapped from a big backpack to a small sling bag for city hopping

I used to carry a 40L pack everywhere, even for just a day out in Lisbon. After a month of sore shoulders, I bought a 6L sling for under 50 bucks. It forces me to bring only my laptop, charger, and a water bottle. My back feels way better and I move through crowds faster. Anyone else make a switch that seemed small but helped a lot?

Switched to a smaller wallet and it cleared out so much junk from my pockets. Went from a bulky trifold to a slim card holder and it's one less thing to worry about. That little bit of space makes a surprising difference every day.

Tried a money clip last year and never looked back. Feels like you're carrying almost nothing, right?

Money clips are great until you need coins or a receipt. That's when you're stuck holding loose change like a kid at a candy store. The minimalist approach has some real world limits.
