I was totally against coworking spaces until I tried one in Medellin

I always figured coworking spaces were just overpriced coffee shops with bad wifi. But after three months of working from hostels in Colombia, I finally caved and paid $150 for a monthly pass at a spot in El Poblado. Honestly, the difference was night and day. The internet was rock solid, I actually met other nomads who do the same kind of freelance writing I do, and the air conditioning alone was worth the money. It took about a week before I stopped feeling like I was wasting cash. Now I'm wondering if I should book one for my next stop in Chiang Mai. Has anyone else tried a specific space there that they'd recommend?

Oh completely agree, I had the same hesitation about coworking in Medellin and the AC was honestly the game changer for me too! I ended up at a place in Laureles and met this whole group of editors who totally changed how I work. It feels weird at first paying for something that seems so basic but the productivity bump is just so real.
