Hot take: coworking spaces in Chiang Mai are way louder than I expected

I moved here 2 weeks ago thinking I'd get tons of quiet work done. My first day at Punspace, this guy was on a Zoom call right next to me for 3 hours straight. Tried noise cancelling earbuds but they don't block out Thai street food vendors yelling either. Anyone found a spot in Nimman that's actually silent?

Man, the whole "quiet coworking space" thing in Chiang Mai is a total myth (especially in Nimman). Have you tried the library at Chiang Mai University? It's like a tomb in there, no street food noise at all, and you just need to flash a passport to get in. Plus the air con is Arctic level which is a bonus for focus.

Feel your pain, honestly. I hit up punspace last week and it was like trying to meditate in a food court with that constant street vendor noise bleeding in. The Starbucks near Maya is actually pretty dead in the mornings if you can snag a corner table with earbuds in.
