Hit 50 countries last week without even realizing it...

I was just checking my passport for an upcoming visa and counted the stamps... somehow I've been to 50 countries working remotely over the last 8 years. Has anyone else lost track of where they've actually worked from?

Fifty countries and you didn't notice? That sounds more like bragging than a real problem. Maybe slowing down and actually seeing a place matters more than just racking up passport stamps.

Man, that hits hard. People fly through places like they're checking boxes instead of actually being there. @verap52, you're right. I see it everywhere now, not just travel. People at the grocery store scanning their phone while their kid is talking to them. Or at dinner, half the table is posting photos of the food instead of eating it. The whole world is just one big "look at me" contest.
