Got kicked out of a coworking space in Chiang Mai for taking a work call in the quiet zone

I was in this trendy spot in the Nimman area last Tuesday, took a quick 5 minute call with my client about a deadline change. The owner came over and told me I had to leave because it was a "strictly silent floor." I didn't even know that was a rule since there were no signs. Now I always check the rules before sitting down anywhere, or just book a private booth for calls. Has anyone else run into weird coworking space policies that caught you off guard?

Oh man, that's rough! I once got told off for chewing too loudly in a co-working space, apparently my granola bar sounded like a construction site.

Used to be on the other side of this. Thought people just needed thicker skin about background noise. Then someone started clipping their nails at the shared table next to me. That high pitched little snip, snip, snip sound. Totally changed my whole view on what counts as too loud in public spaces.
