Coworking pass vs cafe hopping for 3 months straight

I spent 3 months working from cafes in Chiang Mai thinking I was saving cash. Added up my coffee and snack tabs last week and it was $380. Got a coworking membership at Punspace for $80 a month and now I get free water and way better wifi. Has anyone else done the math on cafe spending vs coworking passes?

Maybe the real hidden cost of cafe hopping is the productivity hit from constantly moving spots and finding outlets. Idk, $80 a month for Punspace sounds worth it just for skipping the hunt for a decent seat every morning. Plus coworking passes usually include printing and meeting rooms, which cafes definitely don't offer for free.

Nobody's factoring in the gas money you burn driving between cafes all week.

Forget the money, how much time are you spending just packing up and unpacking your bag every time you switch spots?
