Chose a Co-living Space over a Private Airbnb in Mexico City and Regretted It for 2 Weeks
I picked a popular co-living spot in Roma Norte for $800 a month thinking I'd make friends fast, but the constant noise and lack of privacy had me looking for my own apartment by day three, has anyone else found co-living more draining than it's worth?

$800 in Roma Norte for co-living, man. I did the exact same thing in Medellin last year, paid $650 for a "community focused" spot in Laureles. By day two I was hiding in my bunk with headphones on because the common area had this non stop Latin dance music blasting from 8am. The shared bathroom situation was the real kicker, three people fighting for one shower at 7am every day is a nightmare. I bailed after a week and found a private studio for the same price, never looked back.

Did you check the reviews before you booked? Feels like co-living is just a fancy word for hostel these days.
