A hostel owner in Medellin told me my work setup was slowing me down, so I changed one thing
I was staying at Los Patios hostel in Medellin back in March and the owner watched me work from the common area for like 3 days straight. He finally came over and said "you look stressed every time someone walks by, why not just pay the $8 for a coworking day pass instead of pretending you can focus here." I started going to a place in El Poblado 3 days a week and I get more done in those days than the rest of my week combined. Now I'm wondering if other people have a set number of days they actually pay for a desk, or do you just find quiet cafes and hope for the best?
Wait, he just walked up and said that to your face? That's so blunt it's almost funny. Did you feel weird about it at first or did you just roll with it?
