A barista in Lisbon told me my 6 tools were too many, now I pack 3 and work better

She watched me set up at her counter and said 'you carry your whole office but still look stressed,' so I cut down to just my laptop, phone, and one power bank, and guess what, I actually finish work before sunset now, has anyone else gotten blunt feedback from a stranger that stuck?

A buddy of mine used to haul around a backpack with three chargers, a tablet, and two notebooks until a guy at a hostel told him it looked like he was moving in, not working. He ditched everything but his phone and laptop, and now he swears he gets way more done without the constant setup and teardown. Funny how a random stranger can see your mess clearer than you can, right?
