My inbox went from 14,000 unread emails to zero, and the fix was dumber than I thought
Back in 2019 my Gmail showed 14,382 unread messages and I just let them pile up like leaves in the yard. Every Sunday night I would scroll past the same 200 junk newsletters, feel bad for 10 minutes, then close the tab. What finally worked was making a folder called "Probably Nothing" and dumping everything older than a year into it without reading a single one. It took one afternoon and about 90 minutes, and now the only mail that hits my main box is from actual humans. Curious if anyone else here just gave up and nuked the whole thing, or did you sort it piece by piece?
