Why does nobody warn you that a graphics tablet will make your line art worse at first?
I spent two years doing clean line art with a mouse in Photoshop, and when I finally got a Wacom Intuos last week in Chicago, my strokes looked like a toddler scribbled them. I realized the problem was I was drawing from my wrist like I did with the mouse, so I switched to moving from my shoulder and the lines got way smoother after about three days. Does anyone else think the standard advice to just practice more is missing the actual fix, which is changing how you move your arm?
