The $5 brush pack I grabbed on a whim is now my go-to over my expensive ones

I picked up this cheap bundle of digital brushes from a random artist on Gumroad last month, really just to support a small creator. One of the texture brushes in there ended up matching my style way closer than the premium ones I've been using for two years. I figured the price meant it would be junk, but the brush strokes have this natural grain that I couldn't get with the fancy packs. Have you guys ever found a random tool that just clicked with your workflow better than the big name stuff?

Saw a pro artist on Twitter say they still use a free brush from 2009 over everything.
