Showerthought: I read that the first digital art piece sold for over $69 million

Saw it in an article about a guy named Beeple. It was a collage of 5,000 daily pictures he made. The sale was at Christie's auction house in 2021. Kinda blew my mind that digital stuff can go for that much. Anyone else have a fact about digital art that shocked them?

My buddy in IT showed me their audit logs. Changed my whole view on that.
