Pro tip: I used to think my old Wacom tablet was fine until I saw a demo at the art store in Columbus last month

Oh man, same thing happened to me with an iPad!

I mean, the iPad thing is interesting because isn't that kind of a different beast? Like, with a tablet you're still looking at your monitor, but on an iPad you're drawing directly on the screen. Does the tilt feel that much different when you're not dealing with the hand-eye coordination gap? Or is it more about how the pen itself glides on the glass? I've never tried one so I'm genuinely curious.

Ugh, that demo trap is real. I held onto my old Intuos for years, swore it was just as good. Then I tried a newer model at a friend's house and the pen tilt alone changed everything. My old lines looked so stiff after that. It's like you don't know what you're missing until you feel it.
