Finally finished a piece I've been tweaking since February
I had this portrait of a fox that just would not come together, kept messing up the fur texture in Photoshop. Last Tuesday I sat down with a friend's Wacom tablet instead of my usual mouse and suddenly it all clicked in about three hours. Does anyone else find that switching your hardware changes how you approach a drawing?

Did switching to the tablet really make that big of a difference for the fur texture? I've been messing with a piece for months using just a mouse and it's driving me crazy, maybe I need to borrow one. Good for you though, that feeling when it finally clicks is the best.
