Back up your layers folder in two places, not one, and here is what it cost me on a Tuesday
Three years ago I lost 40 hours of line art when my drive died, so I started a rule of two backups, and last Tuesday the second one saved me when the first got corrupted mid export. It happened around 1am in Chicago, just as I was finishing a client piece, and I nearly lost the whole thing. Does anyone here run a third copy off site, or is two enough in your view?

Man, two saved your butt and you're still asking if it's enough? Idk, I run two plus a cheap cloud sync and it's saved me twice now, the off site one is the one that matters when your place floods or gets robbed. Three seems like overkill until the day it isn't, you know?
