Shoutout to the counter guy in Fort Worth who saved me from a $600 mistake
I was about to buy a rebuilt injection pump for my 7.3 last month because the truck was loping at idle. The kid behind the counter at the parts house on Rosedale asked if I had checked the ICP sensor first. I hadn't, so I grabbed a $45 one instead and the lope went away in 20 minutes. I almost dropped $600 on a pump I didn't need. What sensors have you all swapped that fixed a problem you were sure was something bigger?
