My shop's waste oil heater is a game-changer for cutting costs and waste

I was tired of paying to dispose of used oil from diesel repairs. Now I use a waste oil heater to warm my shop, which cuts costs and helps the environment. What other eco-friendly practices do you guys use in your shops?

I used to dismiss green shop ideas as pointless extra hassle. Your waste oil heater concept seriously changed my perspective on reusing materials. It proves we can tackle waste and costs without big, complicated systems. Now I insist on refilling ink cartridges and recycling metal scraps from every job. The savings add up in a way that truly MATTERS for a small business. Turning waste into worth is just smart operating.

That waste oil heater setup is really clever. I'm curious about the actual numbers though, like how much used oil does your shop produce in a month to make running the heater worth it? Did you have to buy a special burner or could you modify an old furnace? I've seen some DIY plans that look pretty involved.

My shop used to ignore green practices until your oil heater showed the savings.
