I picked a $400 rebuilt injection pump over a new $1200 one
Needed a pump for my 7.3 Powerstroke last fall and went with the rebuilt option from a shop in Denver. Runs fine after 8,000 miles, has anyone else had good luck with rebuilt parts over new?

Sure, play devil's advocate. That kind of "win" probably set them back a year in fixes. They'll be patting themselves on the back while the next system failure waits around the corner. But hey, @river_hall44, maybe short-term luck is the long-term play I'm just too cynical to see. Keep celebrating while the rest of us watch.
