The handshake timer at the Dearborn mixer threw me off
Some guy at the Dearborn chamber mixer last Thursday kept his grip locked for a full 8 seconds while pitching his packaging company, and I honest to god thought he was trying to win a strongman contest. I get that you want to be memorable, but there's a line between firm and hostage situation. Has anyone else had a handshake that made you forget their actual business name?

My handshake's so limp people forget my name too, and honestly, that's the nicest outcome.
