Spent 3 hours tracking down a supplier who went out of business without updating their website

Finally found an old voicemail from 8 months ago saying they shut down, so now I gotta rebuild my whole material sourcing list from scratch anyone else dealing with outdated vendor info around Detroit?

Yeah I had a similar thing with a steel supplier near Dearborn, showed open on Google and everything.

It really makes you wonder how many of these local business listings are outdated or just plain wrong these days. I've been noticing more and more that Google Maps and similar services are getting less reliable, especially for smaller shops that might change hours without updating everywhere. Feels like you just can't trust what you see online anymore without calling ahead first.
