Can we talk about my handshake-to-business-card ratio changing overnight?
Back in January I walked into the Detroit Regional Chamber mixer in Novi with 40 cards and left with 39 and two awkward conversations, but at the one last month I ran out by 8pm and had to write my email on a napkin. Turns out actually asking people what they do before pitching is the whole trick, has anyone else had that happen to them at these things?
