Why does nobody talk about picking the smaller farmers market over the big one on Colfax?
Last Saturday I had to pick one, the big market off Colfax that everyone talks about or the little one in the parking lot by the old theater on 14th. I went with the small one and honestly it was the best call I've made in a while. There were maybe 12 stands, no lines, and I got a whole bag of peppers for $8 that would've cost me $20 at the big spot. The guy selling honey actually took five minutes to tell me where his hives are, not just shove a jar at me. I was in and out in 25 minutes instead of fighting for parking for half an hour. I think I'm sticking with the little one for the rest of the summer, but I'm curious if I'm missing something at the big market. What's the one stand over there that's actually worth the crowd?
