Painted our Park Hill bungalow trim last weekend and the difference shocked me
We finally scraped and repainted the trim on our 1920s bungalow near 17th and Albion over two weekends, probably 40 feet of it, and I keep just staring at the house from the sidewalk. Before, the wood was chalky and gray with paint peeling in sheets, and the whole place looked tired even though the siding was fine. After two coats of a warm white, the house looks 10 years younger and the neighbors walking by keep saying "wow, what a difference." Has anyone tackled an old bungalow here and figured out how many years you can squeeze out of a good paint job before scraping again?
