Just realized my $30 wet saw blade beat my $85 one on the same bathroom floor tile job in Denver
Last weekend I finally tore out the old tile in my upstairs bathroom here in Denver and tested both blades on the same 12x12 porcelain. The cheap $30 continuous rim blade from the big box store cut cleaner with way less chipping, and the expensive one kept wandering off my line. I think the cheap one just has a thinner kerf so it doesn't fight the tile as much, and honestly the slower feed rate helped too. Wound up returning the $85 blade the same day. Anyone else notice price doesn't always mean a better cut, or am I just getting lucky with this one?
