Used to buy deals from local store flyers, now I check three websites before buying anything

Maybe all that extra research just wastes time and energy when the deals aren't that different in the end. Sometimes the best price pops up in a random flyer you'd have found anyway, you know?

Fair point but digging a little deeper has saved me from some pretty mediocre "deals" more than once. Those random flyers usually lead me to impulse buys, not actual savings.

Totally agree @verafoster, I've wasted money on stuff I didn't even need chasing a "steal" from a random ad. Now I stick to a price tracking site and only buy when it hits my set number.
