That $50 Amazon warehouse deal on a Vitamix was actually legit

I saw a refurbished Vitamix Explorian for $50 off and figured it would show up broken or dented. Three months later and it blends frozen fruit like butter. Did anyone else score something they were sure would be junk?

Did yours actually come with the original blade base? I noticed some of those deals swap out the standard blade for a cheaper version. Might be why some people hate theirs while others swear by it.

Same exact thing happened to me. Got what I thought was a good deal on one, but the blade base was some off brand with a wobbly fitting. Totally explains why some people hate them and others love em. Did you end up finding a good source for the real base?
