My uncle swore by that one browser extension for price drops

Back in 2019 my uncle told me to download CamelCamelCamel for tracking Amazon prices. I thought it was overkill and just bookmarked stuff manually. Missed a price drop on a $200 air purifier by about 4 hours because I wasn't watching. My brother used the extension and snagged a $50 Keurig that normally goes for $80. Now I use it for every big purchase and it's saved me maybe $300 total since then. Does anyone else ignore good advice for years before finally giving in?

Wait, you missed a price drop by FOUR HOURS and that was the wake up call? Man that's brutal. I would have been furious with myself. CamelCamelCamel is the only reason I don't get completely ripped off on Amazon anymore. The history graph alone is worth it, seeing if that "sale" price is actually a joke compared to what it was last month. Your brother snagging a Keurig for thirty bucks less, that's the kind of win that makes you feel dumb for not listening sooner. I feel like half the stuff I buy now I just set a price alert and wait a week or two. Most of the time it drops.

Whoa, four hours? That's like a cruel joke.
