My $60 rice cooker died 3 weeks after the warranty ended and now I'm scared to buy cheap again
Bought a $60 rice cooker from a big box store back in January and it quit on me 3 weeks after the 1 year mark hit. Of course the warranty was up so they just shrugged and offered me 10% off a new one. I've been using a pot on the stove since and it works fine but I miss just pressing a button. Now I'm stuck wondering if I should drop $150 on a nicer one or just grab another cheap model and roll the dice. Has anyone found a brand that actually lasts past the warranty without costing a fortune? Would love to hear what's worked for you because I'm not doing the pot thing forever.
