Had to pick between two budget blenders for my morning smoothies

I couldn't decide between a $25 Hamilton Beach and a $40 Oster at Target last week. Went with the Oster because the jar is glass instead of plastic. Been using it for 5 days now and it crushed ice way better than I expected. Has anyone else tried the cheaper one and noticed a big difference?

Blenders for morning smoothies, $15 difference, is this really a crisis? Glass vs plastic is whatever, glass breaks and plastic scratches. I got the $25 Hamilton Beach two years ago and it still works fine, crushed ice no problem if you add liquid first. Oster is fine too but five days in and you're already writing a review, just drink your smoothie. People act like picking a blender is choosing a career path or something.

Honestly, I felt this. "People act like picking a blender is choosing a career path" really hit me because I do the same thing with small purchases sometimes. Five days in I'm still second-guessing which cheap vacuum I got. I get being anxious over a $15 difference when you're on a budget and just want a decent smoothie. The glass jar point is totally valid too, I hate when plastic gets that cloudy scratched look after a month. You're not being dramatic, it's your morning routine and you want it to be solid.
