Found a weird coupon stacking trick at Target that actually worked
I was trying to buy a new coffee maker last week, the one I wanted was $45. I had a 20% off coupon from their app and a $5 gift card I got from buying cereal. I figured I could only use one, but I tried adding the coupon first in the Target Circle thing, then put the gift card code at checkout. Somehow it let me stack both and I got the coffee maker for $31. I don't know if this works for everything but it knocked off way more than I expected. Has anyone else tried stacking coupons and gift cards there and had it go through?

Wait, did you use the gift card as a payment method or as a coupon code? Those are diff things at Target. Gift cards usually work on top of coupons since they're basically just cash, so no stacking trick there, just normal checkout.

Noticed the same thing with store policies everywhere. It's like people overcomplicate simple stuff all the time, @diana_king.
