Appreciation post: the clipper app on my phone saves me $2 to $5 every grocery run and my mom still clips paper ones
I started using the digital coupons at my Kroger in Fort Wayne about 3 months ago and I've saved $68 total so far, but when I showed my mom she said she'd rather cut the ones from the Sunday paper like she's done since 1998. I get it, there's something nice about the routine of it, but I keep finding deals in the app that never show up in the mailer, plus I don't end up with a pile of paper on the counter. Does anyone else use both, or did you fully switch over and never look back?
My grandma did the same thing with her paper coupons until she realized she was missing the digital-only deals on stuff she actually buys. Now she has me pull them up on my phone when we shop together and she still cuts the paper ones too, so you might just end up doing both like her.
