Yard sale prices have gone nuts since 2019
Found an old price tag stuck to a nightstand I bought last weekend, said $8 from a sale in Concord back in 2015. Same seller wanted $45 for a similar one this year. Anyone else notice yard sale folks pricing stuff like it's eBay now?

Wait, are these the same people running sales year after year, or is it a whole new crowd pricing stuff now? I picked up a bookshelf last month, seller wanted $60 for it, and I found the same model listed for $25 on FB Marketplace a mile away. Were these folks just not paying attention before 2020, or did the pandemic flip a switch where everyone suddenly thinks their old Target furniture is a collector's item?
