That $5 maple syrup at the Londonderry gas station surprised me
I was SURE it was going to be some watered down fake stuff you know? But they had a guy out front selling gallon jugs from his own farm in Weare for 5 bucks. Figured for the price of a coffee it was worth the gamble. Got it home and poured some on my pancakes and it was the real deal dark and thick. Has anyone else found legit food deals at random spots like that?

Found that same setup at a farm stand in Nashua once, best honey I ever had for half the grocery store price. You ever come across any other hidden gem food spots around here?

Honey's one of those things where the price difference is wild when you get it direct. My take is most people sleep on the smaller roadside farm stands that aren't on any map. There's a guy up near Hollis who sells jam and pickled eggs out of his garage, no sign, just a cooler on the porch. Stuff is incredible because he's not trying to compete with the big organic brands. Also, look for the old produce markets that have a weird mix of local and imported stuff, the ones that look a little cluttered. Those places often have random specialty items like raw milk cheese or fresh-pressed cider that the big stores won't touch. Your mileage may vary, but that's where I've found the real keeps.
