That $30 'discount' produce box was half rotten by day two
I grabbed one of those mystery boxes from a local market in Concord for $30 thinking I'd score some cheap veggies, but I threw away almost $18 worth of moldy stuff by morning. Anyone else get burned on those bulk produce deals around here?

yeah I saw a thing about this the other day on a consumer rights blog. basically the guy said even if you miss a box, the store still has to give you a refund if the product is defective or not as described. thats not just store policy, thats the law in most places. so saying its on the buyer is kinda missing the point. the store messed up by not restocking correctly or whatever happened. its not like you knowingly bought something broken. plus most people are in a hurry or just assume the box is sealed properly.
