That $3 coupon trick at Market Basket my neighbor swore by actually worked
My neighbor across the street, Bob, told me last fall to always check the Market Basket app on Wednesday mornings because they drop digital coupons at 7am. I figured he was full of it since I never had luck with those things. But after three weeks of checking, I snagged a $2 off any brand of coffee and a $1 off eggs deal that stacked with the store sale. Ended up paying $4 for a bag of coffee that normally runs $9. The trick is you gotta clip them right when they post because popular ones run out by noon. Has anyone else found good hidden deals in the Market Basket app like this?

Bob probably also thinks the moon landing was faked but hey, I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day (lucky for us). That coffee deal sounds legit though, I'm kicking myself for not checking the app sooner. My wife has been nagging me to get the app for months and I kept saying "it's just gonna be coupons for stuff I don't buy" but apparently I was dead wrong. $4 for a $9 bag of coffee is basically a steal, like finding a twenty in an old coat pocket. I'm going to set an alarm for Wednesday at 6:55am and see if I can catch those egg deals before the suburban moms clean them out.
