Spent $45 on a bulk pack of AAA batteries at Walgreens, then found them for $12 at Ocean State Job Lot in Manchester

I grabbed a 20-pack of Energizer batteries last month at Walgreens thinking it was a decent deal, but a friend told me to check Ocean State Job Lot in Manchester where the exact same pack was $12. Lesson learned: never buy batteries at drugstores anymore because the markup is insane. Anyone else have a go-to spot for cheap batteries in southern NH?

My go to is actually Home Depot honestly, those big packs of AA or AAA for like $10-$15 that last forever. I grabbed a 40 pack of Kirkland batteries at Costco last year and they're still going strong, I think it was like $13? But if you're near Manchester, the Ocean State on South Willow is solid for that kind of stuff. Also check Walmart sometimes, they have those store brand packs for dirt cheap, just avoid drugstores like the plague. I got burned on a $30 pack of Duracells at CVS once and still feel stupid about it.

Wait $30 for Duracells at CVS? That's actually insane, I would've been so mad I'd probably still bring it up years later too. Ngl I just assumed drugstore prices were bad but that's on another level honestly.
