Old lady at the Nashua flea market haggled me down to 50 cents on a lamp I was already giving away
She told me my 2 dollar price was 'highway robbery' and then spent 10 minutes explaining how her dead cat used to sleep on a nicer lamp, so I handed it to her for a quarter just to see if she'd actually pay, and she handed me 2 dimes and a nickle with this proud grin, has anyone else just given up mid-negotiation because the person was too entertaining?

That's a whole theatrical production for 50 cents. Worth every penny just for the story.
