My chest freezer died in the middle of a $60 meat haul from McKinnon's

The compressor on my old chest freezer quit on a Tuesday in Nashua, right after I stocked up on 20 pounds of chicken and pork from McKinnon's on sale. I lost most of it and only caught it when the ice cream got soft, so now I'm looking at a $200 replacement or paying someone $150 just to look at the old one. Has anyone found a cheap used freezer around here, or is it worth trying to swap the relay myself?
